Finesse 27 – Tugela – £10,000 o.n.o
Tugela is a rare custom-built Finesse 27 – a 27ft version of the usual Finesse 24.
Year: 1977
Tugela has been refurbished, she is in good condition and is ready to sail after routine checks.
The vessel comes with:
- Cutter rigged with anodied mast and boom. Stainless steel shrouds (2004). Terylene running rigging (2004). Slab reefing to mainsail. Plastimo and sails spar headsail furling systems. Gennaker boom.
- Sestrel steering compass; Garmin GPS; Icom VHF radio with aerial; NASA depth sounder; autopilot; radar reflector.
- Beta BD722 diesel engine (1998) with a cruising speed 5 knots/maximum speed 7 knots
- Safety equipment inc. manual & automatic electric bilge pumps, fire extinguishers, harness, lifebuoy,etc.
- Fully equipped interior with up to 4 berths in 2 cabins
- Ebsco sea toilet
- Galley with Origo 2-burner spirit stove.
- Taylor Paraffin heater in cabin.
We purchased the boat 2 years ago and have fully refurbished her including:
- Deck repairs (£2800)
- Cabin repairs (£3700)
- Window reseating, glands, epoxy (£1200)
- Repainted deck
- Anti-fouling paint of hull summer 2023
